Due to some recent relocation issues I have been unable to publish any new posts for quite some time. The issue should be fixed early next week and Queen Street will be back in action! Xx

Spring Love = SABO SKIRT

I must say I'm pretty impressed with my most recent purchases.

The purchase took place in those few minutes between brushing my teeth and getting into bed.

Impulse purchase? Maybe, but I think the bird blazer and horizon top are going to make the prefect addition to my already overflowing wardrobe!

50 Shades of Grey

Lately I have noticed that everything I seem to buy is a different shade of grey. As the days get longer and warmer I will be trading my black winter staples for some beautiful grey statement pieces. The change in colour gets me excited that summer is just around the corner...

Latest Purchase - Zara

/ lyst.com /

At only $79.95 I think this Zara halter neck layered dress is a steal.

I must admit that I did buy this dress in a moment of fury when I couldn't find anything else I really loved (and wouldn't dare leave the shop without something new in hand!).

But this little dress of white has all of a sudden grown on me and I'm looking forward to styling it any way I please!

A Man's World - Weekend Herald Sun

“Maverick women are rolling with the punches, succeeding in tough, traditionally male roles” - Herald Sun Journalist Megan Miller

“I want to prove to young girls that anything’s possible. Just make sure you’ve got the right people around you because it is quite male-dominated.” – Lauryn Eagle

I am feeling lots of women power this morning after reading todays Weekend Herald Sun article ‘A man’s world’.  Journalist Megan Miller writes about five women who are succeeding in traditionally male roles, listed above.

I was first drawn to the article by Lauryn Eagles cover photo and the statement ‘Anything blokes can do… chicks can do better.’

Eagle first came to my attention on The Celebrity Apprentice, after watching several episodes clearly she was not just another pretty girl trying to make her name known.

In a day and age where young girls are looking up to super skinny models and famous socialites, I hope some take the time to read this article and see that success comes from hard work and dedication, not how you look.
